Obama Promises to Move “Rapidly and Vigorously” to Revive Economy

The presumptive Democratic nominee kicks off his roundtable with top economic advisers in Washington, D.C. Monday with opening remarks on his economic plan.

Says he believes “more action is necessary,” and calls again for a second round of economic stimulus.

He’s meeting with a dozen business and economic leaders — including former Treasury Secretaries Rubin and O’Neill, billionaire investor Warren Buffett and Google CEO Eric Schmidt — to review his policies.


Obama camp holds 3:15 pm ET media call to give details on the meeting.
