My very informal, ultra-low sample US Navy poll...

... I'm a Canadian living in Victoria BC (a port city about 60 miles NW of Seattle). I often work part time as a cab driver, and have had the chance to talk presidential politics with visiting US Navy people on shore leave.

In 2004, I found that none of the navy people I asked supported Kerry... none. They were ALL for Bush. This year, I've only asked a handful, maybe 8-10 guys... but they were ALL for Obama. And, of the Navy guys I was talking to, only one was African-American.

2. well when you start re-purposing sailors

to go drive over IEDs in the Iraq desert for His Lunacy, Prince George, they get over him fast.

It was okay when all they had to do was sit out in the bay and fire remote control bombs. Guess it doesn't matter how you come to eventually see the light though, just as long as they eventually do.
