Are m$nbc and Shuster going for a record? While denouncing
Edited on Mon Jul-28-08 03:18 PM by babylonsister
"the ad", how many times per hour do you think he needs to play that ad? :grr: If there's an ad to counter this one yet, I hope someone will post it here. I'll forward it to them; this is way out of line.

1. This ad is so horrible. Let's take another look
Yup, still horrible.

They did the same thing for the Swiftboaters. I think the ad buy was like $300k but they got tens of millions in free advertising through the talking head "news" replays.

6. Wait until they put it on a loop, like they did the "Dean Scream."
I remember Wolf's excuse: "We need to play it again for our International audience..."

2. It's the Hillary 3 am strategy--make the ad, don't really run it, but let the media
run it for you and even argue whether it has merit. I really, really hope Obama knows what he's in for--I don't think the campaign expected McShitstain to stoop this low, and it's hard to strike back because he's military/POW.

3. Where IS the counter ad? Where are the Democrats smaking this shit down?
Obama has a top notch rapid response team, where are they? This is when we need them! 24 hours ago is when we needed them!

4. We are watching swiftboating in progress, and no one in the Dem party seems to
recognize it for what it is.

5. I think the Obama campaign is measuring their response:
Because to send lots of talking heads to counter it, means there will be even more discussion of it.

They need to strongly correct the record and then shift the conversation.

The big question is how they will shift the conversation.

7. If that's true, then they shouldn't err on the side of caution here--what they
Edited on Mon Jul-28-08 03:26 PM by wienerdoggie
SHOULD do is pitch a very public hissyfit and accuse the McShitbag campaign of lying and of politicizing wounded troops, and DEMAND apologies to Obama and to the troops. That's what the GOPers would do.

9. I'm with you. The ad is patently FALSE; why can't Obama's campaign
defend the facts?

8. Noticed that too
I thought the worst thing you could do with a rumor was to repeat it...even if you're trying to debunk it. Ugh...

10. That's exactly what they did with the swiftboat liars ad.
They played it non-stop.

I always felt that it was the msm that fed that monster:mad:

Schuster should know better - you know that he is for Obama and that this is not helping.
