Where is the fire? Why are they letting the Shame team get away with these lies? |
|
I'm watching Scarbo and screaming at the T.V. as the McCain team once again, rams it down our throats about the "poor decision" made in Germany not to visit the troops, about how they (the Obama campaign) keeps changing the story, etc. What's up with this? This wasn't "poor judgment"- this was the Pentagon saying they could not go. Didn't we even see the photo of the actual person who sent the memo about why he could not visit the hospital? Where is the rebuttal on their obscene ad which is attempting to convey that Obama does not care about the troops?
I'd like to see a series of ads created - each formatted in the exact same way to be released every time McShame releases another ad that simply start with "HERE ARE THE FACTS". One by one, they can take apart every lie they are spinning- simple, clear, factual and to the point. Same format- simply change the content in response to every ad they run (or every time they start another talking point).
What's up with them? Passive is not an option if we want to have a shot at this. You can stay on the high road and still destroy them- WITH THE TRUTH.
Ed Schultz discussed this yesterday as well.

1. Just more evidence that they know their audience |
|
Obama is a Muslim who hates America and hates the troops. The truth is irrelevant to the conservative base and those running for office know that. All they have to do is say they have conservative values, repeat over and over again, throw in tax and spend liberals in a short, boring speech and the lemmings will march in lockstep.

2. Republicans cannot seize power without lying. |
|
Americans disagree with the true Republican position by solid majorities on virtually every identifiable issue. If Republicans were honest about their policies (it feels funny to even type such a thing!), none of them could get elected dog-catcher anywhere except the South. (The South seems totally backward and hopeless to me - please tell me if I'm wrong!)
Fortunately for them, the requirement that they lie constantly goes hand in hand with the blind, unquestioning belief of their mindless, sheeplike followers. Authoritarian leaders who must lie, submissive followers who love being lied to - it's a perfect combination!
America is slowly committing suicide, using Republicans as bullets.

3. Where is Obama's quick-action response team who was so |

effective during the primaries? Why the silence? I don't get it either.
'THEM' I get; their job is to rip him down and apart, and they are accomplishing it. Where's the response?

McCains ad makes him look shallow, empty and without substance. I seriously doubt it helps him one bit.

You'd think that regardless, so you must be cheering. McCrabby is scary, Obama isn't. What a concept, eh?
