oil prices

Any one else notice that oil prices fell during the week Obama was in the Middle East? Is there any connection, I'm not finding anything in my research. Any links will be appreciated.

1. There was that photo with Obama wearing a turbin.

2. I doubt there's any link to his trip. I think the two things that affected

oil prices are the report that Americans are driving less, thus using less gas, and that Congress has been lookinbg into price manipulation by the hedge funds. I think the second reason might have put a little fear of getting caught!

3. The dollar grew stronger, OPECs prez says our dollar is weak & speculators are cause the world

...to have to bear the brunt of high fuel cost.

When you double a 220 yr national debt in less than years it has a drastic affect on a countries currency

The drop was mainly related to the precieption of oil speculators.

What changed the speculators view is up for debate.
