2. I like Biden better as a person/Politician...
...but I do like that Kaine makes Virginia competitive.

So I go with Kaine.

Biden's big plus is is foreign policy credentials, but that's a pretty vague thing about him that you can't really expect most non-political junky voters to know.

3. Kaine has a good bio - I like his environmental background...
imo these guys bring different talents to the ticket ~ who knows what Barack thinks he needs now.

Somebody from Virginia said that was a weak spot for him but provided no specifics.

5. Biden, because Kaine will be replaced by his far right Repub lt gov who will then
be the odds on favorite as an incumbent in the 2009 race. If he wins, he'll oversee redistricting in 2010 and thus the Virginia legislature for the next decade.

8. Kaine by a mile.
It would be pretty tough for Obama to sell his "Change" platform with Joe (God Bless Him and his three-decade-long DC service) standing next to him. Kaine is the perfect fit.

9. Biden sounds like a football coach
He's an awfully bright guy, but he sort of has a bullying tone that I find very annoying.
