Poll question: Obama turns to you and says...
Edited on Tue Jul-29-08 08:14 PM by Rowdyboy
"Pick my vice president from one of these four people"

I know that "none of the above" or "pie" would probably win so I left that option out.

If forced to pick just one of these 4, who would it be?

2. Doesn't shock me a bit.....I did too.....
I despise Nunn, don't want a Republican and consider Clinton far closer to my views than Bayh. I just wondered how everyone else felt.

15. Anyone who supports Nunn must consider that, god forbid...
should something happen to Obama, the White House would GO REPUBLICAN.

We MUST have a strong, solid Democrat in the VP slot.

I voted for Chuck Hagel and it added a vote to Hillary Clinton! :P

Edited to add:

In fact I voted for Pie.Too bad there's no "None of the above" option.

6. Kind of a no-brainer, with the possible exception of Bayh . . .
Who's pretty much a nothing, IMO. Hagel's a 'Lican, although perhaps less odious than most. Nunn's completely out of it, politically. Clinton commands the respect of tens of millions, nearly won the primary, and is tough as nails. Of the 4, it would have to be her.

Can I still vote for "pie," though?

9. Neither do I....I was just curious as to how many supporters Hagel, Nunn and Bayh
had. I'm expecting for Kaine, Sebelius or Schweitzer.

10. A lot of folks will vote on what they think will win, not what they want.
I'd pick Sen Clinton in a heartbeat, but there's a lot of risk with that.

12. HRC
Hagel is good, but he's a Republican. Bayh was a huge HRC supporter. If you're going to go that route, just get the real thing. Nunn is out of power too long.

17. I like Hillary the best out of those 4
In fact, some of my coworkers and I were discussing this today, and someone was saying they really did not want Bayh because he was so conservative and would be the standard bearer in 8 years. And I said "not necessarily, what if Hillary runs?" and then I think we were all kind of shocked to realize we'd be hoping for Hillary to run again if she were the alternative to Bayh.

I'd go with Evan narrowly over Hillary, and not at all for Chuck and Sam.

We would go on to have a long talk after which he comes to his senses and picks Wes Clark.

32. Pie!
We cant have Chuck Hagel - he is a republican and if anything happens to Obama it would be a republican takeover. NO NO.

Wes Clark. I want Wes Clark, and if I cant have Wes Clark, I want Edwards. I dont know much about this Kaine guy. Is this all being to be based on religion now? I read somewhere that Kaine is against cell stem research.
