I accept the choice of the nominee. But it doesn't look like the lobby groups who have been pushing against a National Security choice give him much to choose from.

Gov. Kaine does seem to have many attractive qualities and perspectives, especially in areas of family values and economic justice, that would make him a good partner for Obama.

If Obama chooses him there are probably good reasons why he was the best of the options left on the table.
