Obama's Sista Souljah: Ludacris (1 of Obamas Favorite Rapper) Releases Hateful Hillary (B-Word) Diss
Listen to the song here: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=52f_1217434061&p=1

Ludacris Releases Song Attacking Hillary Clinton
Ludacris, rapper and avid supporter of Barack Obama (Obama once claimed to have Ludacris in heavy rotation on his iPod) has released a new song called 'Politics: Obama Is Here' in which he attacks Hillary Clinton as an 'irrelevant bitch'.

Lyrics:
I'm back on it like I just signed my record deal
yeah the best is here, the Bentley Coup paint is dripping wet, it got sex appeal
never should have hated
you never should've doubted him
with a slot in the president's iPod Obama shattered 'em
Said I handled his biz and I'm one of his favorite rappers
Well give Luda a special pardon if I'm ever in the slammer
Better yet put him in office, make me your vice president
Hillary hated on you, so that b^$&%* is irrelevant
Jesse talking slick and apologizing for what?
if you said it then you meant it how you want it have a gut!
and all you other politicians trying to hate on my man,
watch us win a majority vote in every state on my man
you can't stop what's bout to happen, we bout to make history
the first black president is destined and it's meant to be
the threats ain't fazing us, the nooses or the jokes
so get off your ass, black people, it's time to get out and vote!
paint the White House black and I'm sure that's got 'em terrified
McCain don't belong in ANY chair unless he's paralyzed
Yeah I said it cause Bush is mentally handicapped
Ball up all of his speeches and I throw em like candy wrap
cause what you talking I hear nothing even relevant
and you the worst of all 43 presidents
get out and vote or the end will be near
the world is ready for change because Obama is here!
cause Obama is here
The world is ready for change because Obama is here!

This is a pretty hateful song, and I don't know what F&^% Ludacris was thinking writing somehting like this. Time to throw this IDIOT under the buss.

Or would you like this to be our little oasis, where we keep our blinders on and don't pay attention to anything but butterflies and dandy lions.

93. Seems like you're helping problematic along.
Most of the song appears to be about McCain - got a problem with that? There's just the one section that refers to Hillary - one of the words used is "irrelevant." Yeah, that's really terrible. Awful. Some rapper called Hillary irrelevant. Call out the Marines.

Yeah, I noticed the other word. Hillary got called that and worse on a daily basis here. Gonna throw everyone under the bus?

I guess the fact that Obama has come out and repudiated Ludicris over this song means nothing to you, as long as you can get your little dig in.

11. You don't see any hate in his calling Hillary a bitch?
Obama should make at least a short statement condemning this -- and I hope the media asks him about it if he doesn't issue a statement first.

He has said before that he doesn't like the message in a lot of rap lyrics, and this is a particularly offensive swipe at a Democrat whose support he needs.

He is not in any way responsible for everything that is ever said or done by every Black public figure.

This has absolutely nothing to do with Obama, and neither he nor his campaign should address it.

thing about it is, life teaches you how to be a bitch. It's a Title that women should wear with pride, not hide from it or get their knickers in a wad. It's meant to be dirisive, but it's really not, if you read women's history.

Ludacris is his own person, and due to free speech laws, he is entitled to say whatever he wants to. Just like Geraldine Ferraro did.

95. It doesn't have a thing to do with being smart
Obama knows that he will be held accountable for every brown person in America who says something the slightest bit unsavory right now. All they have to do is MENTION his name in even the unsubstantial way and the idiots and clueless fools on a mission will automatically make the association.

This says less about Obama than it does about a certain type of White American voter.

time on my hands then Obama and I've never heard the song before. I have some old Ludacris songs but I haven't kept track of all his latest work and I imagine that's also the case with Obama too.

It's not up to Obama to keep track of every single word uttered by each of his supporters.

I see your point but I don't agree.

Hillary's standing is tremendous and she is a well-respected senator. And if a pro-Hillary rapper had sung this the words would have been hung around her neck. But then again, the rules only apply if you are Hillary.

Luda is clever & funny, but he's a jester & a troglodyte - he'll go anywhere for a rhyme or a boast. He has no off switch, no internal regulator. He probably calls his moms a b*tch, and means it affectionately. He'd have no clue why you'd object to that word - he doesn't appear capable of introspection.

And Obama gets to listen to whatever the fuck he wants in private - just like you & me. De Gustibus Non Disputadem.

And on edit: this post is classic Concern Troll.

25. I doubt he calls his mom that. When he says b*tch...
Edited on Wed Jul-30-08 11:49 AM by Truth Hurts A Lot
he's just trying to be funny, and most of the time, it is! And it's not aimed at one particular gender. (I.E. "Move b****, get out the way" etc.)

By the way, I'm not really a Ludacris fan... his songs are really corny to me.

16. lol. "helpful", Ludacris...
I hope if Obama is asked about this, he responds properly. Though I'm not really sure if this song will get on the Obama campaign political radar unless he is asked about it, even if he is a fan. This is one of the bullshit MSM stories that the press likes to go after though, so I wouldn't be surprised if the campaign becomes aware of it. God, I hate unhelpful "supporters".

Ludacris is a hip hop artist. This is even more absurd than the imbroglio over Rev. Wright.

Obama is not responsible for Ludacris, and he's not under any obligation to do anything about this.

Ludacris knows how to sell his work, and you're helping him.

I tuned to WABC to see if they mentioned anything and Rush just played it and even read the lyrics (even though they did bleep the b..ch word). I'm sure that FOX will play it endlessly on its various shows.

Ludacris may support Obama, but his new rap is not helpful. It's precisely the type of thing that makes a "typical white person" cringe.

BTW, Rush is also quoting from several newspaper articles that say that Obama has a problem with women voters. Having some rapper calling Hillary a b..ch just reinforces the issue.

43. If someone calling her a name reinforces Obama's problem with women is pitiful
It is really sad that some of these women are using this as an excuse. I don't buy it. They don't like Obama and are using this as an excuse.

They are getting tiring. Bunch of whiners.

His concern is to cause strife within the Democratic ranks. I was curious to see if the RW had picked on it already, and true to form, they had.

What does Ludacris calling Hillary a bitch have to do with Obama??? Ludacris may have issues with women, but Obama does not. The idea that you would make that connection is AMAZING.

83. it will be of concern if the MSM gets ahold of it
and tries to tie Obama to this rapper.

Then Obama will likely be forced to throw him under the bus a la sister souljah.

--------------

Just calling everyone a concern troll and thinking that is some kind of reply doesn't really cut it. It shows a real paucity of thought on your part. This song is exactly the sort of thing the right wing will use and the MSM will seize on - it is a legitimate topic for discussion. And this is a discussion board despite your desire to shut people up.

69. Maybe this will help GOTV
If this makes the air on hip-hop stations, I think it could have an impact on voters who listen to rap. Regardless of what Luda says about Clinton, the more important message is: "so get off your ass, black people, it's time to get out and vote! paint the White House black and I'm sure that's got 'em terrified."

97. Well some rap is hateful. Where have you been?
Edited on Wed Jul-30-08 10:13 PM by nc4bo
And before rap lovers get their panties in a wad, I said some rap.

I'd like to ask the outraged one thing though:

All this handwringing and wailing over who?? And who? should be ashamed?

Where was the outrage when some rap artists first began calling women b****es, hoes to be pimped out, objects of sexual gratification and where was it when the music glorified sexual, verbal and physical abuse against women.

Where was the shame when these rap artists rapped about killing one another, drive-bys, gangs, drugs and crime?

Hello?? Rap artists have been rapping for years and years with barely a peep from any of us. Now all of a sudden it's turned into a "political thing" simply because he used the names Hillary, McCain, Bush and Jackson, suddenly there is a world of outrage.

It's a rare one that cares anything other than making a few million selling to a few million to a few more who dream of selling a few million too.

If you find yourself having so much to say now, you should think about why you never said anything negative about it then and just forget you ever heard this mess right now before it becomes a gop mushroom cloud.

Rap "artists" are not Obama's surrogates nor do they have any function in his campaign.

Pshaw........the more issue anyone makes of it, the bigger and hotter this thing will get. Just like any other rap track, this disgusting one gets it's moment of fame, then it's on to the next hot and disgusting track.

It's rap folks, it is what it is and since I'm not a fan of it, it's all crap to me and should be for everyone else who doesn't listen to it.
