What about McCaskill?
There's a dark horse for you.

Obama is in MO today...with Senator McCaskill.

And she has been a consistenly strong surrogate for him.

She's also indicated that she'd accept the VP slot.

Granted it's pretty unlikely, but still worth a moment or two of consideration.

2. As a Missourian, not just no, but FUCK no, the only thing going for her is that she isn't....
officially a Republican.

4. I totally agree. I have been very disappointed with her votes
regarding telecom immunity in the warrantless wiretaps boondoggle.

3. Well, does she have more experience than Obama, or less?
I would be very leery of someone with less experience, no matter how good she is at talking.

5. As much as...
I guess.

Here's her wiki page.

I'm not seeing anything so exciting there.

6. I think she's better as a surrogate--I don't think Obama has her on his list.

7. He can't pick McCaskill - people who supported Hillary won't stand for it.
McCaskill was the enabler of The Snub back at the State of the Union event. Not only did she enable The Snub, she appeared on TV on the day or two afterwards defending Obama about it.

9. No matter who is selected there will be a chorus of "No's" to follow.
