1. Will the debates be like the ones in 2004?
With questions from the audience?

I hope so. Hell, I hope the debates are ALL questions from the audience. God knows, there are far more intelligent questions from ordinary Americans than the questions posed by the debate moderators.

3. You're right - the audience will ask better questions
Whoever the moderator is in the first debate, he/she will probably ask Obama some trival question like "What do you think of what Rev. Wright said"?....Then that will be followed up by some gem like "Sen. Obama, when you wear a flag pin, what thoughts are going thru your mind"?...

I wish the audience could ask all the questions....

4. I just hope they're not like the ABC debacle
But, somehow, I suspect they'll pitch bright orange softballs at McCain. How else can they keep him in the race?

5. McCane's excuses:
Sept. 26 - Mississippi - oops sorry, can't make it, have to go shoe shopping.
Oct. 7 - Tennessee - nope, bad day, got to take the jet to the shop
Oct. 15 - Hempstead, NY - Hemp, did you say Hemp? Obama may smoke weed but I don't, sorry, no show.

John will get chewed up and spit out within 20 minutes.
but all in a nice way.

it'll drive him crazy mad and am looking forward to one of his temper tantrums live on camera. spittle and red face and clenched fists and all. the man has no control, you can just tell - and Obama is pretty well the polar opposite

this will be good
secretly I look forward to this like the roman colosseum times - thumbs down for McCane!

17. "Oh, don't listen to John. That's just the pills talking."
Do you think the M$M would report any such thing if they heard it?

8. True
Some Americans prefer a dim-witted, inarticulate idjit because they can relate him. And then there is the jealousy and resentment factor against intelligent, well-spoken people.

19. Don't forget that debates are not Obama's strong suit. He goes over the top with speeches
but didn't win all the debates with Hillary & Edwards.

20. Obama should answer all fake qustions with I'd love to answer the question if it was policy related
Edited on Wed Jul-30-08 10:29 PM by barack the house
After all it's what they are there for. He should say I feel pretty certain the american public tuned into see how we are here to help improve their lives over dispute any hearsay and gossip. He should say false rumors of my personal life are not why I ran for president Americans are hurting and he should say he is there to help to the best of his ability.
