There's more than one way to make someone look bad. Sometimes, you don't have to say anything at all, especially if you're setting up a contrast.

That is what Obama is doing.

Obama is the positive guy with the strength and vision to put our country back on the right track- and he knows it. Not only is he capable, he's confident enough that he doesn't have to say it- instead, he shows it. Actions speak louder than words, and Obama is speaking by staying above the fray.

McCain is the tired old crotchety guy who doesn't have the energy and positivity to put something worthwhile forward. All he can do is try to tear the other guy- the younger, stronger guy- down with mudslinging. He looks like a loser. Not just a loser, in fact- a desperate loser. A loser who knows he's going to lose.

I've been loving Obama's campaign for the past couple of weeks. Ever since that trip, Obama has been flying high. He's doing great and I have no doubt that he will win.

1. I agree with you; Obama was brilliant today on the trail. He
claimed he doesn't spare much thought to McCrabby and his creepy commercials...

Obama just responded outside of Bell's Restaurant in Lebanon, MO: "You know, I don’t pay attention to John McCain’s ads, although I do notice he doesn’t seem to have anything to say very positive about himself. He seems to only be talking about me... You need to ask John McCain what he’s for and not just what he’s against."

4. Totally agreed. Perfect response.
Not to mention- Remember when Clinton did this, turned negative? Didn't work. Really backfired on her, actually.

There's a vernacular word for the type of person that does what McCain is doing: "hater."

Point and Blame is all he can do...."Heh heh"

Calls Obama elitist while wearing $600 shoes and owns 6 multi million dollar homes...flies around in a private jet...who the fuck is he trying to kid?

He reminds me of Harrison Brady in Inherit the Wind when Tracy nails um into a blubbering mess, spittle included

2. That can work if they are both together and the attacks are happening in real time
... like in the debates.

But I think your average voter won't just passively come to this conclusion, obvious as it is.

Its too subtle and McCain's ads are right in your face. Obama needs to fight back in a simple, uncomplicated, and effective manner.

3. Exactly. NOTHING about McLame is endearing him with his base or the public.
He's just making a lot of disgusting farty noises.

5. That's a great way of putting it.
He's kind of making an ass of himself. "Causing a scene."
