Buchanan just said that Milbank is one of those journalists who's in OBAMA's camp!
he really did

that's the issue in a nutshell

reality is SO skewed that this sort of media "analysis" is accepted without rebuttal: media is liberal, loves Obama

the dishonesty inherent in that sort of approach is so obivious, so disgusting

Buchanan is now saying that this stuff is NOT WORKING! what a dick. it IS working, simply because it's being DISCUSSED before anything else. it's part and parcel of the RW campaign to define Obama.

Harold Ford is doing a great job, for once, in setting Buchanan straight.

2. He's also trying to tie Ludacris to Obama ... LOL
He said that Ludacris was from "his camp", and Harold Ford had to correct him.

Same old crap. Obama controls all the blacks, etc.

9. yeah...I was surprised; even "Smerc" was living among the reality based community
today

Rachel didn't even have a chance to speak during this exchange

sounds like Pat either has a tin ear, or is being very disingenuous

they're STILL talking about his presumptuous

and Gregory is READING Milbank's story now!

will it be corrected?

6. Pat's in Hitler and Mussolini's camp...
as evidenced by his new book.

Fuck Pat and his WW II/Holocaust Revisionist seditious shit. That 'smiling' face is the same one which herded Jews, gypsies, homosexuals, and others into the gas chambers.

Again, I say, Fuck him.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=6561375&mesg_id=6561375

and, my guess is Olbermann will ignore this, as he has every swinish pronouncement Milbank has projected regarding the dems

10. Rachel just SHOT DOWN the Milbank hit job, specifically addressing
how he MISREPRESENTED Obama's words on being 'the one'

very nice job

to be fair, after reading from Milbank, he read an excellent response from Huffington Post, which castigated the old line for treating Obama like an uppity you know what

and neither did Smerconish!

did you hear the quote about which he said there was NO DOUBT? from June 4. something about black and white people shaking his hand, wanting to see something different come about.

14. Smerc is DEFENDING Obama! this is the best show I've seen....after Buchanan read the
very lying quote. he actually read a wonderful quote from Obama in June, where he said, basically he was just the conduit for peoples' aspirations, not the 'one'. smerconish gets a big kudos from he today!

Rachel and Smerc both nailed Buchanan, as well as Milbank, for being lying sacs of shit

this was AWESOME, for a change

I feel GREAT!!!

now, if they'll just STOP the entire presumptuous line of attack

will they?

and I hope they get

But I think Smerc supports Obama. Lately he seems to be the one defending him and taking some wicked shots at Gramps. Did someone cut off his kool-aid supply? I wonder what gives.

Cheers...

15. Pitchfork Pat Gets Pwned By Rachel...
Damn...seems like most my life I've enjoyed watching Buchanan shoot off his trap and have it ram right back in his face. He grabs the Milbanks quote as if its gospel. Rachel smacks that down and takes it where it should be. The problem isn't Obama, it's Buchanan.

Game, set, match. Gregory couldn't get into a commercial break fast enough.

Thank goodness for Rachel Maddow!!

and hats off to Smerconish, as well. he was prepared to answer the smear with a verifiable quote of his own, which was very favorable to Obama

Racism. She even used the word "uppity"...and good for her.

Digby calls it the dog whistle...and no one can whistle better than Pitchfork Pat.

Yes...Smerc seems to have a very good handle on what's going on here...he sure isn't parroting the talking points much these days.

16. Pat is trying to bait Obama into a trap by suggesting ...
he just take the high road in this.

That's the temptation and its been shown that a bunch of voters are just too stupid to recognize that nuance.

So he HAS to fight back early or be defined. Pat just wants him to lie down and take it just because the ads are weak.

25. exactly, with this caveat.....it DOESN'T matter if the ads are weak. all that matters is that they
Edited on Wed Jul-30-08 06:06 PM by Gabi Hayes
exist, and are being carred ad nauseum by the media, exposing them over and over and over to the average news consumer. it doesn't MATTER if they stink, or if they SAY they stink. almost ALL TV commercials STINK to Pluto and back, but they WORK. they work because of one thing: repetition. things don't get repeated if they don't get exposed, and the M$M is doing the job of the RNC by constantly playing these ads. if they showed them once, that'd be acceptable, but they play them over and over and over and over....I've seen that one six times so far today, in a two and a half hour window

they've spent the WHOLE show talking about Obama's being the focus of the campaign, and in a most negative way, which illustrates the RW strategy at its baldest:

DEFINE Obama as being unfit for the presidency, and make the campaign about him, not McCain and his Chang and Eng relationship with Bush

you don't hear ANY discussion of that obvious fact, so far

NONE at all

that's the challenge of the Obama campaign in this fight: FORCING the media to talk about McCain's liabilities, his suitability for office JUST as much as they focus with electron microscopic intensity on him

it's that simple

29. you've hit on a great point: dems need to act on this, and start INTRODUCING America
to the REAL McCain

the Keating Five Mccain

the Lobbyist's favorite McCain

the PNAC enabler McCain

the man who calls his wife a c*** McCain

the man who reverses every position he's ever had McCain

the Bush loving McCain, who, when he bothered to show up, voted with the president a HUNDRED percent of the time this year

30. Barnacle on Hardball with some baldheaded RW shill on the show......
(barnacle) says in response to the shill in regards to the abbreviated soundbite from the milbank article; "Well, WE'RE NOT SURE if that's the entire quote." and just blew it off instead of putting the entire passage/paragraph up on the screen and clearing it up with him. UGH!!!

WTF. The entire quote has been out all day long. He could have shut the puke shill down then and there with the actual recorded, verbatim quote that couldn't be taken out of context.

madder at the few so called objective journalists left at M$NBC who have become a bunch of disingenuous cowards that are scared shitless to be perceived as "in "the tank" for Obama. It's pitiful to watch.
