You can't ever totally count out negativism and how effective it is, but McCain is up against a juggernaut, not too mention he seems too much like the grouchy old man who is yelling at kids to get off his lawn. He seems like more of a joke than a threat. And that he's laughably and bumblingly out of touch only adds to his problems. In the past, acting stupid was a plus in Republican and Independent circles, but now we've have 8 years of stupid and people are sick of it.

That if you asked me four years ago if a black man could be the next president I would have said no way. But Bush has been so bad, that it helped usher in a shot where a black man will probably be the next president. People want change that badly they are willing to go in a place we've never been before. And besides that, Obama is an outstanding politician and a wonderful man. It's the perfect storm, baby! :)
