When is John McCain going to be introduced to the American Public? |

The corporate media talking heads (you can't possibly call them journalists), the Republicans, and others constantly tell us that the voters know all about John McCain.
Oh really? I've talked with plenty of people who don't know the facts about McCain.
1. He graduated in the bottom of his class. 2. He has multiple homes, wears $524 shoes, he pays over 100k a year to household help yet calls Obama an elitist. 3. He has a problem with his temper. Even Republicans are on record voicing this concern. 4. He joked with a reporter about how he probably would have went to war against the Soviet Union during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Does anyone have this link? It was previously discussed on DU. 5. He is surrounded by corporate lobbyists. 6. He was involved with Keating Five and concerns over McCain with a female lobbyist were recently raised (yet no one seems to be investigating this matter). 7. He is in bed with the Neocons. 8. He has made multiple mistakes yet they go unreported. 9. He was a MAJOR cheerleader of the war and told us it would be paid for by the Iraq Oil. People need to be reminded of this fact!
The American Public deserves to know the real John McCain, not just the media created myth of John McCain.
The outside groups need to focus on introducing John McCain to the American Public. The same people who gave us George Bush are trying to sell us on John McCain.
And when John McCain complains - Well, we just need to remind him that he needs to have a sense of humor.

Maybe not truthfully or critically but he's been introduced as much as the M$M is going to.
War hero... blah blah blah... Maverick..... Blah Blah blah... Old but experienced ... Blah Blah Blah... Better than that Obama Guy... Blah Blah Blah.... The un-presumptuous noble figure... Blah Blah Blah...
You have to remember, these people are not journalists. They are "news readers" who just want to earn their fat pay check while talking with an air of snideness about the faltering economy and hard times they have not recently had.

It's not for lack of funding or scarcity of material that the American public hasn't been introduced to the real McAnus.

6. The media is in the bag. For McCain. This is why donations and volunteer work is so important |

to winning this thing.
We have to do the work on the ground. And with ads. We can't count on the media
