3. You can't be watching the same speech. This is awful.
Really really bad.

Why does ANYONE care about him becoming a millionaire selling cell phones? Lame approach. Weak content. And truly awful delivery.

How was he considered a potential POTUS candidate?

8. Indeed, you're watching
a different speech.

Not sure what you mean by him being considered for the POTUS? He did not run.

9. Now he's talking issues and bashing Bush.
Remember, most of the country has never heard of these people and the first time anyone knows about them is the time they speak at the convention.

Hence they have to introduce themselves.

11. It's getting somewhat better, at least content wise.
His delivery is still weak.

15. I like him. It's a good speech.
He's coming at it from a different angle. I like how he criticized Bush for never bringing out the power of the the American people. That's a powerful criticism.

18. This is a piss pour Keynote address
A keynote should be inspiring and set the stage for the major addresses

Casey's was better IMO

24. He made some good points, But I really didn't care for the DLC commercial in the middle
His delivery could use some work. Not everybody can be a charismatic speaker. But a keynote speaker probably should be.

Shame, I think they should've given the keynote to Casey on the basis of tonight's performances.

33. I never thought of Casey as a good speaker, but I thought he was terrific tonight
I don't know if giving the keynote would have made sense though...it might have created more drama with some of the female Hillary delegates.

If they can send jobs overseas, they can bring them to Danville (a small town in VA).

MARK WARNER is BORING! Where's the "killer" rhetoric???
As usual we have Dems like Warner preaching "love and happiness," when what WE NEED TO WIN is "blood and guts."

Content was better than delivery but I've gotten a little spoiled over the last 4 years.
