It is a lock for McCain, but I have yet to see one McCain bumper sticker, and have seen only one yard sign.

13. I was in an area the of Nashville the other day... |
|
that was once (might still be) the 5th wealthiest area in the nation. I saw no McSame signs. Only a couple Obama, but no McSame at all.

|
I see more confederate flags in Indiana than I did in Virginia.

7. NW Indiana is the smart part..a suburb of Chicago basically... |
|
massive Democratic support. Its the central and southern parts that are scary.
Fundies and repubs like it was Alabama....or Texas.

I read 'locked up' the wrong way. As in locked up for the other side. D'oh.
It's past my bedtime, so I should probably get off this thing now... I was just so excited after Hillary's speech. :) I had to get on and see what y'all were saying.
G'night, you. :hi:

5. Well...if the 8th district can elect a Dem to Congress, there's hope for the rest of the state. |
|
Landslide in '06...and still a safe seat. Hoosiers are going Blue in '08! :kick:

Too many conservatives and not enough major urban areas.
The trading price on Indiana is approaching 80/20. It was improperly placed on the swing state category on this site and elsewhere, based on irrelevant state polls.

14. Well... as a life-long Hoosier, I beg to differ. |
|
I have seen the shift. If you know anything about the 8th district you would know how significant this '06 shake-up really was.
