Who cares if he's likely to get us into a war with Iran? The man was a POW

Who cares if he could potentially get us into a war with Russia? The man was a POW

Who cares if he's anti-choice, and wants to appoint judges who will overturn Roe v Wade? The man was a POW

Who cares if he wants to gut the environment to squeeze a few drops of oil that won't affect gas prices more than a couple of cents? The man was a POW

Who cares if he's McBush? The man was a POW

BTW, for the satire-impaired, I have no intentions of actually voting for McPOW. Just pointing out that his ex-POW status seems to be about the ONLY thing that he has going for him, and it's the one thing that his supporters always bring up when you question them. How dare you question McCain, don't you know he was a POW?

3. Wait, you're saying he was a POW??? Wow.
And here I was, all going to vote for Obama based on having good policies and being so calm and cool and collected and well, to hell with that.
Psh. It all sounds so STUPID now.

4. I know what you mean. "POW" is more powerful an elixer than "Holy Bible". I mean it answers
EVERYTHING.

10. Ugh - can you imagine how annoying it would be if he picks Ghouliani for his VP?
It won't happen, because the fundies would throw a fit. But just imagine how fucking annoying it would be, hearing "I was a POW" and "I was mayor of NYC during 9/11" every fucking day.

"I was a POW during 9/11"
Either that, or the Vietcong were responsible for 9/11

18. Exactly... that's what I hear whenever he says "POW"
I hope that Obama has a good rejoinder for that inevitable McMansions debate response.

6. This reminds me of that SNL skit...
..Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer, in which Phil Hartman played a terrible lawyer who won every case by saying "I used to be a caveman," or something along those lines, for sympathy. Substitute "I was a POW" and you've got McCain.

8. Uhm, The GOP decided not to vote for him in the 2000 primaries
And I believe he was also a former POW back then.

But loved your satire!

11. Everybody knows that BushCo trumps POW
Only now that BushCo is constitutionally obligated to step down, is the POW allowed to step forward.

13. Yeah but back then,
he was crazy, his wife had a drug problem, and he had a biracial love child.

Now he's all POW, all the time.

15.  McCain's position is "A NOUN, A VERB AND POW"
Should he choose to double up he could pick guiliani who holds a very similar position.
