The Republicans are the institution for keeping the status quo.. and it's run by the highest form of the "Old boys network".. they don't exactly have minorities lining up to join in. Yes, you do have your occasional Condi and Colin... but they're a lot less frequent on that side of the fence. They'll only do it when they think they have to find a minority to have a shot at winning. And, that will be a long ways away - because there will always be plenty of white folk who will only vote for other white folk.

Luckily our party figured out quickly that it's not skin color or gender that makes a great president.
