1. I phone banked this morning...as I do every Wednesday morning.

I ended up getting sucked into the phone bank.

Monday is my data entry day. I have off.

5. Acceptance speech tomorrow. Canvassing Friday and Saturday.

And I have another email to answer about a registration drive. Just haven't gotten around to that one yet.

6. Canvassing, Phone Banking, Registering Voters.

Tomorrow night, I'm hosting a party with 12 attendees.
Saturday morning - In home organizing and involvement meeting - so far 7 people are signed up.
Saturday Afternoon I'm hosting a Training & Canvassing session - just opened this event today
13th, Another training session & Canvassing - so far 5 people are signed up.

I'll be going out during next week on my own to hit more houses, and will be working with the people from my Saturday AM meeting to plan more events. I'm involved with my Local Dems, so I have access to the walklist database and can organize my own walks. I love the freedom in that.

8. It's a really cool and empowering campaign so far isn't it.

They give you the tools to do it yourself if you want. I could call from home if I wanted, and in my own area as well. They're big on people working in their own areas.

7. My home is open to Obama workers from out of town.

We have donated 500 buttons and 500 bumper stickers to our local Obama office, donated cases of printer paper, food items and water to the office workers, registered voters at the fair and wear our Obama shirts every day! Let's go people there is a lot of work to do. Peace, Kim

Usually I hate phone banking, but I got lucky and was calling other volunteers to line them up for a canvass this weekend. The ones who answered were mostly watching the convention and gave me a good running commentary.
