Two Speeches
Kerry's speech struck a chord with all those folks that had pent-up anger from the last 8 years. Biden's speech, on the other hand, was powerful and emotional and came from the heart. They were both superb in different ways.

It was best that the two speeches were different. Americans needed to hear the sharp words of John Kerry. There was an obligation to call John McCain on his words and deeds. It was necessary to point out the contradictions in his national security credentials.

One could not help but watch the folks in the crowd wiping the tears from their eyes when Joe Biden talked about his mother and his love for family. He demonstrated one of the truest qualities of liberals - compassion. He wears his heart on his sleeve and people are so appreciative and needy for such honest and straight talk from politicians. Both of these speeches were great and necessary.

1. It's a shame that the MSM did not show Kerry's speech. It was one of the best of the convention.

3. God I love this ticket!
When obama walked out tonight my wife and i were both jumping out of our seats and clapping at the TV.

That is not a common occurrence at our house to say the least.

4. When Biden told the story about his mom telling him to bloody the bullies noses
the screen shot of her nodding in agreement was beyond hilarious.

I was rolling.

5. momma Biden said if you get bullied, go back and punch 'em
so they know you won't back down. Certainly the MO of Obama and his staff....so Biden will fight right in--uh...I mean FIT right in. :)
