Gregory riffin' now on the acceptance speech venue tonight as detracting from the momentum
of the convention which has been held in a more "intimate" setting. What an ass! Media doesn't get it. This candidate has invited you and me into the process and removed exclusivity from a celebration that was reserved for the party elite or activists, for want of a better word. What a novel idea. We, the people, will someday soon be allowed once again into the White House and the halls of government. Of the people, by the people, for the people.

1. Obama needs this venue
Not only is it an historic event, it's also almost 45 years to the day from MLK's most incredible 'Dream' speech.

I just hope the crowds will shut up long enough for him to get in some oratin'!

2. It's such a bad thing for a presidential candidate to speak to huge crowds.
 Especially in front of ornate columns that look like 90% of the buildings in Washington, DC.

3. They always have to come up with a negative spin no matter
how asinine. Karl rove must have whispered that into his ear while they were dancing. F'ing shill!

4. Obama could get endorsed on stage by McCain tonight and the media would find a way to complain.
Their job really isn't to report the news anymore. It's to spew gut feelings and things other people have told them to say.

6. How elitist to give a speach to thousands of your supporters...
The republicans are jealous and they are sticking to the time honored tradition...attach your opponents strenght. Forget issues...because lord knows that they can't win on the issues. Much better to try to set the bar to impossible, imply that this is just about "celebrity", etc.

I have stopped watching the MSM. CSPAN and nothing else. I don't give a SHIT about what some right wing wing nut feels that our party should do.

You're attacking too much...your not attaking enough. You answers are too detailed...but are vague. You are a celebrity because you can pack a stadium...so you are an elitist.

I saw a great bumper sticker today. I AM FOR BIPARTISANSHIP. I'LL HUG YOUR ELEPHANT AS SOON AS YOU KISS MY ASS.

There ain't no stoppin' this momentum--but let the corporate whores fantasize now. They will look so pathetic trying to muster enthusiasm for the GOP convention.
