President Palin Is What Is At Stake
If McCain were to be elected and were to die in office - Sarah Palin would be president. That's just a fact - as much as we hate it. Her policy positions put her to the right of both Bush's, Reagan, McCain. In other words - we would be looking at an all smiles and sunshine rightwing monster.

This election MUST be fought on the issues. This other stuff - it could backfire and cost us the election. Like my little league coach used to say 40 years ago - "keep. your. eye. on. the. ball."

We cannot afford a President McCain - and we sure as hell couldn't afford a President Palin!

18. The baby obsessives seem to be too interested in steering the conversation
away from her Fascistic Dominionism.

2. Yes. Add her positions to her inexperience
and you get someone ripe for manipulation.

5. Don't need a tinfoil hat. It's pretty self evident.
And she needs to be stopped.

12. Scary as HELL - I'm shocked how many people seem to think it's "over" and we don't have to worry
It's not over until November 4th - and to think McCain putting Palin on the ticket somehow "wins" it for us is dangerous thinking. This should kick us into a 60+ days high-gear mode. Even more than before. We really couldn't afford a President McCain - but the thought (with high probabilities) of a President Palin scares the crap out of me.

14. Not to worry.
If McCain dies in office and Palin becomes president, the same corporations will continue to run the government. Just like they have for the last 8 years.

He's also 72, with four past cancers and showing signs of dementia.

19. She believes that creationism should be taught in the schools.
The Creationists believe that the Earth is just a few thousand years old. Such a view reveals a mind numbing ignorance of geology which estimates the age of Earth at 4.67 billion years old.

Creationism is only a figment of religious imagination. Subjects taught in schools are based on lesson plans, laid out in some time unit like semesters. Since Creationism is a "notion",the notion could be expressed in one paragraph.

Palin believes that contraception shouldn't be used by anyone, including married people.

Her list of lunatic beliefs goes on and on.

I have felt badly enough about the political direction of America over the past 8 years. But,to think that the electorate just might vote for such an individual is depressing beyond words.

But nowdays, I'm having trouble connecting with many of our citizens with regard to life values.
