Palin wants change alright, back to the 12th century. McCain would have been hard pressed to find a running mate who not only agrees with Bush on everything even after all of Bush's policies have been proven to be utter failures, but that even wants to go farther than Bush. Yet, he found one in her. Instead of going back to the 1920s, she wants to go back to the 1120s with government by God and the our feudal overseers, in this case large corporations. What is clear is that she is a pro-corporate, anti-labor, free-market extremist who believes in supply-side nonsense that has gotten us into this trouble. She views virtually any non-defense program in the budget as being "waste and fraud". Beyond this, she wants to push her Assemblies of God whacko, tongues-speaking, regressive, oppressive nonsense on the country at large.

That's not change. It's an even more extreme version of the Republican agenda, just with a fresh face. To be a little more crude, allow me to quote Napoleon when we was speaking to his minister of foreign affairs, Talleyrand. He said, "You are shit, Talleyrand, shit in a silk stocking."

1. That is why the campaign should ignore her
Let her talk. Sure the rapture ready will be duly impressed. Everyone else? Not so much.

3. Just let people ask her about where she wants to take the country.
The hockey-mom shit is charming at first, but when you realize that she is slightly more conservative than Francisco Franco, the charm wears off in a hurry.
