I'm a bone head
Can you explain this last line from TMP.

I'm seeing a lot of happy talk on the chat shows. But what I'm hearing from St. Paul is that very few of the pols and operatives are giving any credence to the idea that Palin wasn't a rushed and unvetted last minute pick.

1. Translation from wonk-speak:
Despite public assurances to the contrary, repub pols and operatives are doing little to dispell and deny the notion that Palin was a rushed and badly-vetted last-minute, Hail Mary pick. Which pretty much confirms that she WAS a rushed, badly-vetted, last-minute pick. They don't want to actually come out and say it (party unity and all that happy horseshit), so they're confirming by silence.

3. Agree with post #1. Untie the double negative & it says McCain didn't do his homework on his own VP
It wasn't thought through carefully before naming her. They were evil and their plans went awry, but at least the neocons thought things through before doing something dangerous and stupid.

4. Ok, Warrior1 - you seem like a real nice woman.
I just looked at your profile and I know all about you.
I'm running for President.
My name is John.
Want to run with me?

That's about all it took.
Reports say, no one in Alaska can remember anybody coming to talk to them.
Staff, friends, relatives.

The Repuke conference lines were buzzing 8 minutes after Obama ended his speech in front of 84,000 in Denver.
They said, "we're in trouble, let's think out of the box".

Sarah Palin jumped out of the box, with her big hair and nice legs.

God, I have to:

:puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke:

Assholes.
They never vetted her.
McPuke is more familiar with Paris Hilton.

The Republicans.
They never cease to amaze me.

5. It's good that she wasn't vetted, frankly.
More than enough shit has already come out about her in just a couple of days. I predict an implosion within two weeks. Harriet Miers Redux.
