1. I like Palin ... If I had a say in McCains choice I'd have been talking up Palin |
|
If he gets rid of Palin he's only going to find somebody that really better.

4. And if they manage to steal another one? You want this fundie, anti-choice |
|
anti-environmental small-town beauty queen one heartbeat away from the Presidency? IMO, that's not only crazy, it's terrifying.

His choice is excellent!!! Mrs. Palin is a true patriot who believes in individual freedoms and rights. She believes in individual responsibility and less in government handouts. And yes, she even has more experience than Hussien's whopping 143 days. But more than anything, she does not support the murdering of innocent babies. She will show Hussien what real leadership abilities are! William Hall
I can't really rate the choice because I have no idea who she is. I think he picked her to try and pick up votes from women and disgruntled Hillary fans. Victor Lee
This is a slam dunk, difusing arguments from the left and easing concerns from the right, not to mention what choosing a strong woman as Veep does to woo disenfranchised Clinton supporters. this is an interesting race, for certain. note-taker

6. Which goes to show just how ignorant people are |
|
Obama has clearly been in office way longer but the repukes just say "she's been in office longer" and dumbass people believe it. It's all about getting the word out there, soon McCain will be on public financing and will be outspent three to one, then people will see the truth.

7. I will just to express my father's view -- he lives in NC |
|
And he said 100% that he is now voting for Obama.
He'd said that when he didn't choose Hillary that he was dithering -- his vote for Hillary in the primaries was the first time he'd ever voted Democratic. During the Convention he said that he "might go ahead and vote for Obama anyway".
Today he said that McCain's choice of a VP clinches it for him.
I don't like some of his reasons (he is nowhere near the women's liberation type), but if his reaction is anything like other people's will be...
