Here's a joke: Why is McCain giving his convention speech from the Gulf coast? |
|
Because it's the central front in the War on Nature.
OK, but seriously, ladies & gentlemen... how could McCain giving his speech from a disaster zone be seen as anything other than crass, political exploitation of a national tragedy?
Hmmm? I think this stunt will backfire, much like his hastilty-chosen, un-vetted VP candidate.

" . . . and the God who knocked down these neighborhoods will hear you too."
Oh, no, whoops, that won't work. Scratch that.

6. First he nominates the PTA president for VP, then this? |
|
Maybe he'll stand on the wreckage of someone's home for effect, with a couple of bloated bodies floating by. What an opportunity!

7. What exactly is McCain doing there? |
|
It's like when he sent Eeyore and that other guy to Georgia. Nobody really wanted them there and they were just getting in the way. If the Gulf Coast gets hit as hard as everyone thinks it will, the last thing they'll want is an additional media event to muck things up.

9. Why are they taking advantage of the storm.? |
|
I am in a group of women that are, for the most part, young and esily manipulated by the media. They, are excited about the repubs being there to save the day. They are all set up at the convention to help with phones etc and going to be on call to help the people. Here we go again....It is so sad. It is sad that people can be fooled so easily by this. It is hard to read this ranting and it is like we are playing a football game and rooting for their team. I hate it. All I can do is ask them to watch Link TV or something so they can see what is really going on all over the world. I wish that all people would feel that this planet is what really matters, not our own little corner of it. Thanks for letting me preach. Mrs Moose

11. Its an attempt to exploit a potential disaster... |
|
much like the McCane campaign.
Who, in their right mind, would put themselves deliberately in harms way? McCane is a dipshit.
