My Gosh, Thomas Eagleton Was Vetted MORE Than Sarah Palin |
|
Edited on Sun Aug-31-08 07:50 PM by IWantAnyDem
This is like watching a slow motion train wreck!
They are just now on the ground starting the vetting process? My God, this is the worst handled Veep selection EVER.
Obama's campaign beat them to the punch on local newspapers? Strike one for McCain.
Internet rumors running rampant about a local gossip story regarding the centerpiece of her attaractiveness as a candidate? Strike two for McCain.
The first explosive piece of material that pops up as verified and fully confirmed on the radar and it will be strike three and McCain is out!
It's looking more and more like the only vetting done was the FBI background check and some test marketing of her as a candidate amongst the fundies, NOTHING ELSE!

11. He's also the only one on a ticket that has been medically certified to be SANE. |
|
Just saying is all. I kinda wish we had that from McCain.

2. I think everyone needs to start typing more slowly |

We need to drag the Sarah Palin saga out for as long as we can. I fear she'll be gone by the end of next week at this rate.

6. IF she's out next week, that's it, we win! |
|
That is the mmost serious inditment possible of McCain's judgement. There can be no WORSE example of poor judgement for a presidential candidate.

But recent history indicates that the American public - right wingers in particular - have the attention span of retarded rabid bats. Better it be a bit closer to the election. Early next month would be good.

9. That's fine. The convention is McPOW's only substantive shot at free good press.... |
|
With this Palin brouhaha at full-force, that's diminished. And if she's removed from the ticket, it's utterly destroyed.

3. At this point we could have been battling Mitt's economic creds or Pawlenty's exec experience |
|
Instead, where mired in utter b-s. The whole process is insulting.
Here we have two superlative candidates ready to debate the issues facing us and we're battling two sacks of crap.

The media is being nice today. The Obama operatives AND investigative journalists hit the groun in Alasak yesterday.
McCain;s people just got around to starting their vetting today.
And it's come out they can demonstrate Palin called Monnegan TWENTY-FOUR TIMES to get him to fire her brother-in-law!
