He's making the right kinds of noises, anyway--we won't know until after the storm whether the state of Louisiana was genuinely preparedto assist the survivors, secure the affected area and begin the cleanup in a timely and effective manner. But you have to wonder of McCain isn't kicking himself just a little, seeing Jindahl get all this positive press attention. Hey, Grampy McMansions--can you say "d'oh?"

assistance from Bush. Gov. Whatshername probably spent most of her time trying to prevent Bush from running her out of the state.

8. Did you get McCain Points for that post?
Just kidding (sort of) I get your point, but damn all the hard works been done there. The people on the ground lived through that and will protect everyone, Jindall (or the Queen Bee) for that matter are powerless. Unless Jindall is going to "bottld hot water to dehydrated babies"

10. Not yet, anyway
There is no way Americans would go for a 36 year old VP candidate.

6. On Friday morning I was sure the McCain campaign was going to pick him....
I saw the stormtrack and thought they'd hail mary for the "hero protecting his state" angle.

11. After Katrina Bush helped the Rep. Gov of Miss., and not the dem Gov of La.
Jindahl is part of a PR ploy to try to help erase Katrina from the minds of America. Give me a president who is thinking of all of the people and not just the ones of his/her party. I can't imagine Obama leaving the people of a city to fend for themselves because their Governor is not in the same party. I'm SaveAmerica and I approve this message because I'm tired of Republicans messing with our country.
