4. Thanks for putting this together. I was trying to think of some women who
would have been more ready for the presidency because I knew Palin was about the lest experienced.

5. Good stuff

I don't know her whereabouts now, but I think Whitman has probably about had it with the freaks that have taken over that party. I expect to see her resurface in a few years as a Democrat. I always thought her lurch to the right later in her career was forced on her.

8. Nah. Whitman's biding her time.
She wants to be in the Senate, and is either hoping to beat back Bob Menendez, or have a Republican replacement for Corzine name her to the Senate when Lautenberg dies.

6. Elizabeth Dole is McCain's age, so that probably wouldn't have gone over well -
but he definitely didn't pick the best woman in the room!

9. Not by far.
Even Meg Whitman, who has never held elective office in her life, has more executive experience than Sarah Palin. She ran a company larger than the Alaska state government.

10. I'm being completely serious here.
That's just what I could think of/dig up in five minutes of Republican women who are better suited for the Presidency than Sarah Palin.

11. Jodi Rell is my governor and would have made a WAY better choice then Sarah.
But I guess he had to go with the psycho fundie and Rell is too moderate.

12. If he'd chosen Snowe or Collins, he may have pulled in some independent/moderate voters.
Palin will just get out the fundie vote. Most moderates will be turned off.

13. he would have lost some of the fundies though so maybe it would have been a wash
but Snowe sure has a way better resume' than Palin.

14. Of course she's the most qualified. Are you blind?
She is way hotter than any of those old ladies.
