Day after day that little shit was on the yak shows (This Week, Face the Nation, Today, Meet the Press, CBS This Morning) talking about how he was staying out of the spotlight and not campaigning. And then he would go on another show to say the same thing, over and over again. It was his non-campaign campaign.
