2. YES! They were great! I really like the way the two
interact with each other. They're seamless and there is nothing awkward about it at all.

7. Biden called him Boss
and Barack corrected Steve on various rumors ie. not liking beer. Barack basically said that was bullshit. Good interview and surprisingly great natural chemistry.

6. I watch little TV, but I watched that! Needed a booster shot of HOPE
since I was having a big time post- Dem convention let down (and all of the McPalin stuff is getting me down - not the criticism of her, but the fawning from the MSM).

Great interview! WE will be in good hands!

8. For me, it solidified my opinion that Barack chose his VP for governing and not for winning.
For me, it solidified my opinion that Barack chose his VP for governing and not for winning. Even with all the baggage choosing Hillary Clinton would have brought... it would have been an obvious political campaign choice. This is just another example of how the MSM media ignores the Barack Obama governing judgement and how superior it is to the governing judgement of John McCain. Lets face it, Mitt Romney runs rings around Palin when you compare pure "know how" and "do how". Of course none of us would be supporting John McCain or Mitt Romney either way, but if push came to shove and nature got the best of "President McCain", I would feel a LOT better with Romney at the helm than Palin. Coming from a pragmatic sense, John McCain made the wrong decision for America whereas Barack Obama, in choosing Joe Biden, shows that he truly chooses the best for the country first.

9. It is an excellent interview...
...here's the link to it for those who haven't seen it: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/08/30/60minutes/main4400811.shtml
Pass it on, and show it to EVERYONE.
I am firm in my belief that Obama wants to do the job of President for WE THE PEOPLE, not just the corporatists. Not just the people with the same views as his. He has, once again stated, that he wants to work for ALL of America, not just some of us.

14. Great interview
Obama was assertive with the interviewer and was very smooth about it. When he commented on having a beer it was funny how he threw it back in the interviewers lap.

18. I'm glad they got some more face time
We had less than 24 hours in between the end of a great convention, and McCain trotting out his veep pick, taking away all the attention from the media. This was a smart move.
