It's a lovingly intended parody - after all, everyone eats and almost no one looks good in a photograph taken while they do it. If I have a point, it's that he's human, not just another animatronic figure.

Sometimes you just go for the funny, even on your own guy. After all, this is the party that caused one of my favorite quotes: "I don't belong to any organized political party - I'm a Democrat." Right?

Obama is an inspiring figure. I think of him as my generation's Bobby Kennedy. I get excited when I think of the increasingly real possibility he'll be our president - far more than I did over Kerry or Clinton. I voted for him in the primary (in Kentucky, even!) and I'll vote for him again, and I work my ass off to get him elected here.

To sum up my argument in LOLcat form: I can has benefit of the doubt plz? I know DU's a troll magnet, but really, I ain't one.
