First off, we aren't the Obama campaign. They call their own shots and I'm sure they're busy doing advanced level homework on Miss Palin as we speak anyways.

The beauty of the blogosphere, especially during political season, is that any story can gain traction anytime. The McCain campaign made the fatal error of selecting a VP candidate with NO PRIOR NATIONAL EXPOSURE. No one really knows who she is REALLY because she hasn't been exposed to the same national media the other candidates have. She has NOT been vetted. I'd bet there are at least 1000 reporters nationwide trying to dig up information on her.

So, EVERYTHING IS ON THE TABLE IN THE BLOGOSHPERE. EVERYTHING. Don't try to stifle proper investigation of ALL issues concerning this choice as VP.

If that's "war" to you, go fight your silly war.

5. This is for the Presidency of the United States!!!
We're already in two wars, a crappy economy, costs rising, American esteem squandered, etc etc etc. Gloves are off, sorry if anyone's concerned about what we're researching.

Good luck with that.

6. What else would this be, my friend?
Either we care about the cause or we don't, but this is the closest thing to "war" that most will get. We're fighting for the country, domestically.

9. Why not. McCain is still running those "experience Hillary" commercials in Denver.
I say open the flood gates. Oops. That's not right. There will be none of that.

Let's see. Open up her closets, see how many shoes she has. How's that, Imelda?

Does she know how many shoes she has?

13. Are you a drama queen, no...it's not war, it's politics.
"The beauty of the blogosphere, especially during political season, is that any story can gain traction anytime."

And it doesn't matter if it's actually true. That's whats e'ffing great about the so called "blogosphere".

This could possibly be the most ignorant post in the past two days that I've seen here on the DU. Have you people no sense of self, no pride in your values?

Mr or Mrs or Ms original poster, if you're concentrating your efforts on the VP candidate of the opposition, then maybe you might want to re-concentrate your efforts on what I would like to think is our new President, Barack Obama and the values he espouses.

RollWithIt, maybe management could create a new forum for you, "91101/Palin"?

15. War or not, my conscience is clear.
I don't see it as choice between doing the right thing and doing the winning thing. I think the baby stuff is important and I have no qualms about questioning Palin's BS official story. I have tried to correct misinformation as well. I would never get behind creating or spreading baseless gossip. I'm talking about the baby stuff because I think there's really something there and that it needs to come out.

17. Well, seriously, there's allot "ON THE TABLE IN THE BLOGOSPHERE"...
that has little practical reason for being there. There's too much time being frittered away on this so-called babygate that could be used to expose every other lapse in Palin as a VP pick i.e. her very...very close relationship with north slope oil producers. Her name is intrinsically linked to anything & everything that has to do with hydrocarbons, oil & natural gas production in Alaska. The puppeteers would love to have her sitting within a garlic burp of where they need their deals pushed through but no...

Here we are talking about Trig, poor little dude, over & over & over & over & over, etc

18. Because looking like a conspiracy crazy is fun when it's anonymous.
I personally would rather stay focused on the issues which is McCain, instead of pulling bullshit out of my ass about his VP pick. Thankfully Obama is smart enough to stay focused on McCain and not get side tracked by the freak show.
