A blog entry and pic of a pregnant Palin from early March.

This blogger was in Alaska at a PolarTrec Conference March 2 - 9. When returning, she runs into Gov. Palin at the Fairbanks Airport. She writes about the experience on April 27.

Of course I had to check out the “Hottest Governor in the US” and quickly turned to see her pregnant (she has since had her baby) with bags and daughter in tote. Then it struck me as odd. Why is the Governor of Alaska in the airport and preparing to get onto my commercial flight?

I questioned PolarTRECer Craig Kasemodel an Alaskan resident. He let me know that Governor Palin sold the corporate jet after securing her official Governor position.

Governor Pallin said she would sell the jet because it was impractical and that the Alaska state inventory would be relieved of this dept. The jet was sold on EBay to Larry Reynolds for 2.1 million dollars.

Not only is Governor Palin “Hot”, but she is also very kind.

I approached the Governor and told her a little bit about PolarTREC and why I was in Alaska. She told me that she knew of the program and then introduced me to her adorable daughter Piper. We chatted about Florida and Barrow, Alaska and flying commercial. She said she really enjoys and prefers flying with people who either live in or are visiting Alaska. She even flies coach! She was kind enough to take several photos with me.

On Edit: I agree that the posted pic doesn't show Palin's stomach area. However, the poster took several pics which may show her huge as an elephant. We just don't know. Plus, the poster's seemingly first reaction was, "oh my, there's the pregnant governor of Alaska!" WE JUST DON'T KNOW.

But I don't see how a picture or description of Palin looking pregnant proves anything. Making yourself look pregnant is an important part of pretending to be pregnant.

11. I've been saying all along that we should stay away from it

and I still believe so. But I have to say that that article seems suspicious. I think it's notable that an obscure blog happens to mention her appearing pregnant in an offhand way right after the babygate thing hit the internet. This is the only instance, that I'm aware of, of someone saying that she was noticably pregnant.

But let's leave that alone for now. Notice the way it talks about the jet sale? Did she really get all those details about the sale of the jet in a casual conversation, and did she really believe that all of those details were of interest to people who come to her blog because of an interest in PolarTrec?

Read the rest of the article. She seems to go out of her way to praise someone whom she bumped into by chance in an airport. The whole thing gives me the impression that it was actually put out by the campaign or at least a very ardent supporter.

Where did you come across that link?

On Edit: Oops. For some reason I looked at the date on that article and thought it said August 29. It actually says April 29, which is before any of us heard about the whole baby controversy. So it looks like this was written way before the VP pick, which would seem to invalidate my whole post. :blush:

The woman's face was fat and she was round as a giant barrel, yet with this one her face was skinny and her belly flat. Gee, I guess it's those new medical developments that cause an 8 month old pregnancy (at 44 no less!!!!) to be slim as Jennifer Aniston.

You can go ahead and let yourself be fooled. Nobody else is.

13. What I find confusing

is that her coworkers apparently were surprised when they learned that she was pregnant, yet to a total stranger she appeared to be obviously pregnant. There seems to be a contradiction.
