This week is the one-two punch

I think two things possibly sealed the deal for us this week.

Firstly, Obama crossed the Commander-In-Chief threshold in a big way. And secondly, the very next day McLame failed the Commander-In-Chief test.

The fact that these two events happened, literally, back to back makes those two facts glaringly obvious. I almost can't believe how events are unfolding. Obama blew the undecideds socks off . . . and McLame not only showed everyone that he really will be more of the same, he's experiencing a "You've done a heckofa job Brownie" moment with another monster hurricane set to hit in the same place as Katrina, like an exclamation point, an neon arrow pointing to the obvious. It's really freaky.

I don't think McLames political appearance down in the Gulf coast will do much for him, his VP pick is the last straw for most undecideds.
