McCain is hitting the wall (physically and mentally) |
|
Edited on Mon Sep-01-08 12:10 AM by GrizzlyMan
Just watching the horrible rally McCain had in Missouri today and one thing struck me -- this guy is tired. I know Obama took some heat in the MSM for taking a week off before the convention, but it was well worth it as his speech was a rousing success.
Today McCain seemed especially out of it. I've watched him speak dozens of times during this race, and never before have I seen him so discombobulated. I counted at least 10 times where he stumbled over words and several more where he repeated himself. At one point he said Palin was a union member. To my knowledge that is not true. It also looked like he was steadying himself by leaning on the podium. He also had to read Palin's name off a card (after 2 days, cmon!) and started to mispronounce it before correcting himself.
It's Sept. 1 folks, this guy's been on the trail since forever. The effects are starting to show. He's breaking down.

6. Frankly I was shocked when I saw some clips of him.. I had no idea he was so out of it! |
|
There were clips of him in that joke video about the teleprompter -- my gawd, he is worse than Bush sometimes. They are doing it again, you know. Putting up an entirely out-of-it puppet so the PNAC can have their way.

7. Did you see his announcement of cancelling most of the RNC festivities? |
|
It was really horrible. He wasn't very well put together and it's a weird disconnect because his performance is very erratic-- some days he seems to be articulate (and doesn't appear senile although he's just as scary in his beliefs if you actually listen to what he says instead of how he says them) and then others, he's just so fucking senile and obviously suffering from early dementia. It's so weird.
It's gonna drive me insane on the debates if the MSM covers for his ass.

He's blinking a lot. I wonder if he thinks he's back in the Hanoi Hilton and is trying to send out some kind of code for the cameras?

30. He also has weird pauses and stuff |
|
It's weird to hear him speak because the freepers make fun of Obama's verbal tics like his uhs and ums (which I have to admit he really should work on a bit) but McCain's speaking when it's obviously unscripted is really horrible... At least I know there's something there behind Obama's pauses but I don't get that feeling at all with McCain and that scares me.

Nevermind, I was an active member of the PTA on both sides of isle.
I paid dues, so that makes it a union.

But I don't know too many people who would associate that with the UAW, Teamsters and other unions who deal with the rights of employees at a company. Where I went to school, the PTA mom's brought cupcakes every friday afternoon. I suppose in Palin's book that's a union.

On Sunday when he spoke about the shortened convention, he seemed confused and couldn't get whatever he was trying to say out. I seriously question his health at this point.
