Palin; The Iraq war is a war for oil

In a recent BusinessWeek interview, Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) admitted that she believes the Iraq war was fought because of oil:

We are a nation at war and in many the reasons for war are fights over energy sources, which is nonsensical when you consider that domestically we have the supplies ready to go.

Or they could have performed a fairly effective vetting process for Palin in about a day. It's scary that these people want to run the country, but they can't even do a simple web search.
