4. or how about at LEAST focusing on her actual political record? Is that too much to ask |
|
there's so much wrong with Palin's POLITICAL record and I can guarantee a lot of those obsessing on the baby stuff are mostly ignorant of the fact regarding those issues.

2. Obama's choice of Biden took the experience edge off the table for McCain |
|
Edited on Mon Sep-01-08 09:28 AM by dmordue
Biden is a reflection of Obama's judgement. Palin reflects McCains judgement of who the best person is to run the country or it shows him as the ultimate panderer who puts politics ahead of governance. Don't you think that is a worthwhile comparison to make between McCain and Obama?

5. No actually, it's not about PALIN. It's about the stupidity of DU'ers. Can't you get nuance? |
|
although that's not all that nuanced.

9. It means another episode of mass hysteria in this forum. GDP has been stranger than ever the last |
|
few months.
And many of the topics here are disgusting, too. Attack Palin on her record and political beliefs. There's enough to use against her there. Targeting her kids is shameful, not to mention likely to backfire.

11. MSM = Most frequently cited information resource on DU:P |
|
They holler, we jump, eh?
Woe unto Obama's camp if they do one nth the screwing up the GOP does... the MSM is up their ass with a mag light and a magnifying glass.
I think even Republicans are noticing the media has become a cartoon caricature of itself.
Not THIS time... that's what I think... no way, no how...
thanks for posting in language I understand

12. Any VP pick by McSame would've probably equally and eagerly discussed during the first few days |
|
A lot of us never heard of Palin before and are justifiably curious about her, particularly since more and more information seems to be trickling out every day now. That being said, If we're still here posting at such a rapid level about Palin a few weeks from now then I'll agree with OP but McSame's VP is a justifiable news topic for discussion here. I would also suggest that we are all understandably quite incredulous about how/why McSame picked Palin and what it means for the November election. I'm not really that concerned about the whole "babygate" story and whatever comes out of it will be picked up by the press no doubt but what IMHO in due time we should be focusing on is continuing to work hard to elect Obama/Biden and fight against McSame/Palin and expose their records and qualifications (or lack thereof) for the highest office in the land.
