March 14 photo with heavy contrast via photoshop, sorry about the wash out at the top, I wanted clear contrast on the jacket and the skirt. Notice she's leaning backwards which should cause a very definable bulge in the belly if those April 14 photos are correct. She doesnt go from flat to huge in a month.

boobs, her thighs. That is incredible, for a 44 year old woman to only have a belly bump and no weight gain anywhere else.

if the date is accurate. You don't show less and less with each pregnancy--you show more, because your abdominal muscles are more stretched-out than with your first children. Makes it very hard to believe she was carrying a baby in that photo.

Thanks for working with the contrast on the picture. Palin stomach is flat in this shot. It can't get any clearer Palin was not pregnant with Trig folks. It's another case of the Emperor's New Clothes.

Remember that women carry lower and lower with each successive pregnancy. The old muscles really lose their elasticity with use. So, considering that this would be her 5th, sorry, I'm not buying it.

This woman is not pregnant. Period.

And at the time, she had no reason to think ahead that these photos would ever come back to haunt her.

This is the kind of evidence used in a court of law, people.

Thinking back over my two pregnancies...I don't think I tucked at 7...8...9 months! Or even at 2...3 months post delivery! In fact, I never tucked again until my babies stopped nursing.

Is this seriously a picture of her a month before giving birth? Or should I say "giving birth"?

I agree with the people who are saying that Babygate qua Babygate should probably be dropped, except as it relates to her wacko decision to get on a plane after her water broke (judgment? what judgment?), but this now-you-see-it-now-you-don't belly really does pique my interest.

19. I have not commented on this or weighed in in any way...

...but... come on. Her abdomen, in that bottom photo, is almost flat. That's a high-waisted skirt, too, nearly an A-line.

I don't know what was going on with her alleged pregnancy, don't pretend to have any knowledge whatsoever, and have never been pregnant, nor been around enough women during their pregnancies to have any kind of medical opinion or even anecdoctal knowledge. But the conflicting stories, and the photos and the whole water-breaking-plane-hopping thing just does not add up. Sorry to those who want people to shut up about it, but, clearly, this is not cut and dried.

If she lied and covered-up her daughter's pregnancy, the fact that she's using the "mother of five" aspect to boost her political attractiveness justifies any investigation into the matter, period. As many people have said, this is not tiddlywinks, it's the most important election in our lifetime. As long as the Obama campaign stays the hell away from it, let Arianna Huffington drop all the hints she wants. It's up to the media to dig this out, and I hope they either expose it or let it die as completely untrue and/or unsubstantiated gossip.

And don't show me that photo where she suddenly looks "clearly pregnant" as evidence that she's clearly pregnant. I don't buy the PhotoShop angle, though - it's much simpler than that. If an actress in a film can easily pad her belly to look pregnant, so can a governor determined to protect her daughter's reputation (admirable in a 50's kind of way, but disturbing in a VP candidate or even a govermor). Her face fleshed out? If she was covering up, how difficult would it be to binge on ice cream to put on some pounds to augment the padding? Easy as (eating) pie.

That suit with the long jacket and the long scarf could be disguising a big tummy. OTOH, what did she look like a few weeks after the baby was born? Is she normally a lot skinnier-looking, and does she usually wear more form-fitting clothing?
