What should be the name of the rumor/"scandal"?

Disclosure: I think no one remotely connected with the Democrats or Obama should touch this story, EVEN IF IT WERE PROVEN TRUE. In that event, McCain would already be damaged and it would be easy and better to be gracious, even if asked directly about just demur and say it's a private family issue. There are very fishy elements, mainly the whole questionable account of flying back to Alaska, but no real proof (the pics don't prove anything). The horse is out of the barn on this, the tabloids are on it, and if there's any evidence we will hear it from those channels, and if not, we won't. I personally don't think it's a big deal if it gets discussed on blogs. The Republicans will try to make a persecution issue out of this no matter what, the main important thing is that the actual campaign and party avoid it completely.

So many are willing to swallow the bait hook, line, and sinker though. I think we will win in spite of ourselves.

3. Grandma Gate

Another DUer used "Grandma Gate" to refer to this scandal, and I liked it very much.

Keep in mind that a birth certificate is an official government document. If Sarah Palin is indeed the grandmother of this baby, then she lied on the birth certificate (with the collusion of other parties).
