PDT? Isn't that how you say it?
I work with people from all the time zones and get so messed up setting conference calls and everything else. Then I travel to a different time zone my Outlook calander stays on eastern, I'll be in central and trying to set a meeting with Pacific time...I need a drink after scheduling a meeting time.

13. Understood -- it's always a challenge to keep on top of it. |

I was thinking "man -- did I miss my extra hour of sleep?" when we Fall Back. :7

5. He's in Illinois now and will be in Milwaukee tonight. |
|
Appearing at 6 p.m. No more tickets--there were lines around the block with people waiting for three hours for them yesterday. There will be lawn seating, but you have to get there four hours ahead. I hope Biden is there too. I'll at least get to see it on tv.

8. Cancelling his prepared remarks to talk about the Hurricane and ask |
|
for help and prayers for the hurricane victims.
More of his subtlety...reminding folks about the horrific results of Katrina. Asking folks to contribute to the Red Cross. How people working together can solve these problems.
Gave lots of kudos in his opening to the the contributions of labor unions.
Talked about the "quiet storms" of underfunded schools, lack of medical care, not having enough to eat, etc.
I like that...quiet storms.

12. This was a nice Labor Day speech |
|
with the moment of prayer for the hurricane victims and the "quiet storms" issues. The crowd, as always, loved him. He made a nice call for unity. Happy Labor Day everyone.:hi:

14. My goodness...that speech was insanely short... |
|
It was nice to see Obama in all...but for thousands of people be standing outside in hot sun for several hours (4 for me)...and be late; we was expecting at least 20 minutes of him time. People i've spoke to was dissapointed but stil happy he was here.
