Very serious question re Palin's willful ignorance...... |
|
We all know how very, very passionate she is about the Pledge of Allegiance, as evidenced by her comments in the interview where she talked about the "under God" part and referenced the Founding Fathers.
Turns out she has no clue that the Pledge was penned in 1892 by a socialist, not by the Founding Fathers, who lived in the late 1700s. Or that "under God" was added as a response to communism during the McCarthy Era in the 1950s.
So here's the question:
If she is SO horrifically ignorant about something she supposedly cares so much about, shouldn't we be concerned about how ignorant she is, was, or might in the future be about things she ISN'T passionate about, like everything the VP does (i.e. understudy to the Pres)? And can we expect her to be any LESS ignorant about her other great passion, women's reproductive issues?
Seriously. It ought to be keeping everyone awake at night, it's such a frightening thing to comtemplate.

She is reminding me more and more of Bush. A combination of intellectual incuriosity and intense ambition. People like that operate almost on pure self-serving instinct.

We have too many issues that we can nail both McSame and palin(comparison to Hollary).
Leave her family out of the equation. As our leader said, we're better than the last 8 years. I believe that applies to palin's family issues also.
PEACE!
