McCain aide tries to tie Obama to Baby-gate rumors:
http://www.reuters.com/article/newsOne/idUSN2944356420080901?pageNumber=2&virtualBrandChannel=10112

A senior McCain campaign official said the McCain camp was appalled that these rumors had not only been spread around liberal blog sites and partisan Democrats, but also were the subject of heightened interest from mainstream news media.

"The despicable rumors that have been spread by liberal blogs, some even with Barack Obama's name in them, is a real anchor around the Democratic ticket, pulling them down in the mud in a way that certainly juxtaposes themselves against their 'campaign of change,'" a senior aide said.

Fucking scumbag.

3. This is the part that is so disturbing. This "official" better be able to
back up his claim, which is to imply that Obama himself spread this rumor.

Of course, I'm sure we can find posts in Freeperville that contain the Muslim smear and McCain's name as well.

9. True, but you know how some of these people are. They don't care about truth.
They'll hear "Barack Obama" and "baby rumors" in the same sentence and automatically assume the worst.

Let's hope at least some will engage their brains.

11. I don't think the Republican party, the party of the White Supremacists and wacky fundies, want to
get into an argument over who has the more radical bloggers.
