Why the FUCK are we making such a huge deal about this idiotic baby issue but not Trooper Gate?
Sarah Palin is UNDER INVESTIGATION AND COULD BE IMPEACHED over her actions relating to Trooper Wooten and Commissioner Monegan.
She removed Monegan without severance, and replaced him with an unqualified creep, Kopp, who she had to remove two weeks later, at $10,000 severance, when it came out that he had gotten in trouble for sexual harassment. The whole story stinks to high heaven, and is a serious scandal that could destroy Palin, even cost her the governorship of Alaska. This is the REAL story.
Yet here I see 500 threads about whose fucking baby Trig is. That's a distraction from the REAL scandal, and we're gobbling it up like it's delicious candy. No, it's not, it's a shit sandwich, and we're biting down hard. Why don't we focus on the real scandal, and the real story...push Trooper Gate. Get it out there. It completely destroys the 'change' and 'maverick' message McCain so desperately wants to push.

1. Another Baby Issue
The press release today that the daughter is 5 months pregnant is also a big story. It has many of the conservative bloggers QUITE upset.

At least it's good if it gets the conservatives all bent out of shape.

10. Because Trooper-gate isn't going away
Trooper gate isn't being ignored. She is still under investigation, and if she survives the week, it will continue to be brought up. But a story about sex and hypocrisy, that strikes at the very heart of her core support, is also important. He main appeal was to energize the fundy base. This revelation means that that strategy will backfire spectacularly.

I sincerely wish that the human race were evolved enough to focus on REAL issues; climate change, poverty, corporate "personhood", corporate corruption, wars of choice, the health care crisis, etc. etc....but the only things the American public really gives a rats ass about is gas prices and sex. That's about it. Hit the GOP on those issues AND EVERY OTHER ONE. Stop "keeping our powder dry" and grind these monsters into dust. The gloves are OFF!

55. Yes, there's much better stuff to go after, like the debt Ms. Executive Experience left Wasilla with
or any of the twenty other good things we've found out about.

The problem here is she's SUCH an unknown, such a blank slate, that details about this and that are coming out fast and furious and it's like... well, which to go with first? It's pretty ridiculous that we're reduced to this, but it also shows how inept John McCain's team is and how awful his judgment was.

31. It takes a full scandal with sex to get the media to cover it. That's why.
We've been fighting for TV network coverage for 8 years. When we finally think we've got it, we'll settle for crap, as long as it opens the door for substance.

Or just flattens the GOP, whichever comes first.

34. Really is a pattern of using offices for personal agenda/grievances...
Burning books, trusted friend/advisor dating someone Todd didn't like so he's fired, Troopergate (where they were warned if valid to be fired, their intrusion would jeopardize the case).

Then we have Obama taking care of loose nukes, smarter on foreign policy, visiting Europe with call for more US cooperation. A joke if our media weren't so covering for Mccain.

53. Why continue to dwell on what the media already has? You go out and find NEW material
since they prefer to engage in an orgy of McLame/Pay-me worship. Now that it has hit the lazy M$M, the subject will eventually switch to other stuff that the media should be investigating themselves... Or at least the bloviating talking heads on TV since the print media has been on top of all of this and was the source of info for the scandals in the first place.
