It's beginning to look like picking Sarah Palin was a horrible idea. The talking points Rethug pundits are pumping up about her won't last as it becomes more obvious she's more trouble than she's worth. I think the coverage of Gustav serves another purpose of keeping Palin out of the news as long as possible as the McJoke campaign figures out how the hell to deal with all of this. If this weren't going on, they'd be forced to talk about the fact that she's under investigation, and as low as it is...the fact that her young daughter is pregnant. These aren't positive stories for a person who was just named your running mate. Even though they're already trying to turn the pregnancy story against "DA LIBRUL BLOGZ!!"
