Senator Obama builds up MASSIVE favorabilty ratings and solid poll lead post convention!!

He gained a point in Gallup today to now lead 49-43 (his best of the year) He leads 49-46 in Rasmussen but with a massive 58% favorability rating anmong likely voters. CNN's dead heat poll last night appears to be bogus. No other poll backs it up.

Couldn't resist. For the past 48 hours I've been trying to use the word pregnant in all my subject lines.

This is nothing but good news. As I recall from the primaries, Obama typically surged toward the end -- basically the more people got to see him and hear him, the more they liked what they were seeing and hearing. JoBama need to get face-to-face with as many voters as possible and ignore the soap opera that is the McCain Campaign.

This is looking VERY good for us - I don't care what the Evangelicals who like her are thinking - many people I know who are moderately attentive to the news are shocked by her being chosen. I have a professor friend who knows 2 female professors who like her, but outside of that, people are laughing. I hope they DO remove her, seriously - it will make his judgment look ATROCIOUSLY BAD, and even if they give some sensitive reasoning, it still smacks of incompetence!
