McGovern never came back from it and lost huge to Nixon. Everyone remembers the Harriet Miers fiasco. It does NOT look presidential when you make a quick, hasty decision and then change your mind after much more politically astute people shoot you down. What's more, all the surrogates who praised your "brilliant, outside-the-box" decision look really stupid themselves.

I have no issue with Sarah's hypocrisy or the morality of her daughter. I just have one question for her--your daughter will be giving birth at the same time that you ostensibly move into the White House. You have a young child of your own, and that child has special needs. Are you SURE this is the right time for you to be traveling all across the country running for higher office?
