Not long ago an 18-year old black man in one of the southern states drew a sentence of 25 years for having sex with his 17-year old girlfriend.
Are Republican Governors simply allowed to ignore the law now?

From a post re his my space page perhaps 16 to her 17. Or anyway the same age. No statutory then, even if she was below the age of consent.
