Senator John McLiar yesterday: "I've watched her for many, many years."
Oh, really? You've had your eye on her for "many, many years?" That would mean you were watching her while she was the mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, population 6500. Here's her old office (via TPM):

McLiar is really trying to get us to believe that he had been watching the mayor of this small town for years, when in reality he made a ridiculously hasty, reckless, and "country last" decision.

From the transcript:

"And I've watched her record, and I've watched her for many, many years as she — as she implemented ethics and lobbying reforms. And I mean, she led on it. She didn't just vote for it. She led it. I've seen her take on her own party."

5. McCain used to park outside the school and watched her emerge from PTA meetings

Then he followed her car home and stopped outside her house where he looked at it all night, hoping to catch a glimpse through the curtains.

9. Now THIS is the opening we need to attack... its time to make an ad...
Now the Obama campaign might want to research it first just to be sure not to embarass themselves. But I would almost bet money right now that there is no way John McCain would know ANYTHING about Sarah Palin until she was governor of Alaska.

They need to make an ad that questions McCain's honesty here. If we are going to go after Palin, we need to do it more indirectly by attacking McCain's reasoning, judgement and honesty regarding his decision to pick her in the first place.
